DJI has officially unveiled the Osmo Nano, a featherweight modular action camera designed for creators who want portability without sacrificing performance. Weighing just 52 grams (0.1 lb), the Osmo Nano packs advanced imaging features such as 4K 120fps recording, 10-bit D-Log M color profile, and a wide 143° field of view, all while fitting in the palm of your hand.
Compact Yet Powerful Design
The Osmo Nano is DJI’s smallest action camera to date, measuring 57 × 29 × 28mm. Its modular design allows it to connect magnetically to the Multifunctional Vision Dock, which adds a 1.96-inch OLED touchscreen, extra battery life, splash resistance, and fast data transfer capabilities. The dock can also be mounted in different orientations, making it ideal for vlogging or action shots.

Waterproof up to 10 meters (32.8 ft) on its own, the Osmo Nano is ready for swimming, surfing, and outdoor adventures. When paired with the Vision Dock, it gains IPX4 splash resistance for added durability.
Imaging & Video Features

At its core, the Osmo Nano carries a 1/1.3-inch 35MP CMOS sensor with an f/2.8 ultra-wide lens. It captures up to 6880 × 5160px stills and delivers flexible shooting modes, including:
- 4K (16:9) at 24–60fps
- 4K (4:3) up to 50fps
- Slow motion: 4K/2.7K at 120fps, 1080p at 240fps
- Timelapse, Hyperlapse, and SuperNight low-light mode
With 10-bit 4:2:0 color depth, D-Log M, and a max bitrate of 120Mbps, DJI promises up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range. Stabilization is handled by RockSteady 3.0, with horizon balancing available in widescreen formats.
Storage & Connectivity
The camera comes in two versions:
- 64GB model (€279 in Europe) with up to 400MB/s transfers
- 128GB model (€309 in Europe) with up to 600MB/s transfers
Both support additional microSD storage when attached to the Vision Dock. The Osmo Nano also offers dual microphones, wireless mic pairing, gesture controls, and a handy pre-record function.
Battery & Endurance

The Nano’s 530mAh battery and the dock’s 1300mAh pack combine to deliver impressive recording times—up to 200 minutes at 1080p/24fps or 60 minutes of 4K/30fps in Endurance Mode. Fast charging takes the camera to 80% in just 20 minutes.
Accessories & Availability
DJI includes useful mounts like a magnetic hat clip, lanyard, and ball-joint adapter, while extra accessories such as an ND filter set, glass lens cover, and magnetic headband are sold separately.
However, DJI confirmed that the Osmo Nano will not be available in the U.S. at launch, though the company says it remains committed to American customers and is adjusting its strategy for local conditions.
