CAME-TV Waero Pro 1.9GHz Wireless Headset Unveiled at IBC 2025

CAME-TV, a company with more than a decade of expertise in production gear, has unveiled its latest innovation: the Waero Pro 1.9GHz Full Duplex Wireless Headset system. Targeting professional film, broadcast, and live event crews, the system was showcased at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam as a flexible, interference-free communication tool.
Originally known for LED lighting solutions, the China-based manufacturer shifted focus to wireless intercoms and battery systems, now positioning itself as a key player in crew communication technology.
Group-Based Communication
The Waero Pro allows one master headset to connect with up to eight remotes, while supporting two separate communication groups. Operators can switch between Group A and Group B with dedicated buttons, while the master can broadcast to all participants at once via a central control.
Technical Performance

Built on the 1.9GHz DECT band, the Waero Pro avoids interference common on the crowded 2.4GHz spectrum. It offers zero-latency, full-duplex communication, meaning all users can talk and listen simultaneously without interruptions. Enhanced from earlier models, the Waero Pro now supports up to 16 users without requiring an external hub.

Dual antennas and receivers inside the master unit extend connectivity to approximately 1,700 feet (500 meters). The system also incorporates Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) and optimized mic processing, ensuring clear communication even in noisy on-set environments.
Battery and Power
Remote units can last up to 50 hours on a single charge, while the master headset delivers 5–8 hours depending on the number of connected devices. Both replaceable batteries and USB-C charging options are supported, ensuring minimal downtime during long shoots.
Pricing and Availability

The Waero Pro is available in multiple configurations, starting at $222 for a two-person kit and scaling to $1,998 for a 16-person setup. A popular five-person kit (one master, four remotes) retails for $555. Two frequency-specific versions are available—one for the U.S. and one for the EU—to comply with regional spectrum regulations.
Distributed worldwide via CAME-TV’s website and authorized dealers, the Waero Pro includes a two-year warranty.
