Asus has unveiled a major refresh of its ProArt P16 laptop, equipping the flagship creative machine with Nvidia’s latest GeForce RTX 5090 GPU and a new Lumina Pro tandem OLED display. The update positions the ProArt P16 as one of the most powerful Windows laptops for professionals in 2025.
RTX 5090 Power for Creative Workflows
The highlight of the new model is the inclusion of Nvidia’s RTX 5090 laptop GPU, offering up to 24GB of VRAM for resource-intensive tasks such as 3D rendering, AI-assisted workflows, and 8K video editing. Combined with AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU, the ProArt P16 is designed to push performance levels beyond its previous-generation models.
To handle the increased power, Asus has integrated a redesigned vapor-chamber cooling system, which promises better thermal stability under heavy workloads.
Lumina Pro OLED: Brighter and Sharper

The updated ProArt P16 introduces Asus’ Lumina Pro OLED touchscreen, a tandem OLED panel that delivers 4K resolution (3840×2400), up to 120Hz refresh rates, and improved HDR brightness. The display is tailored for color-accurate and detail-critical work, making it especially appealing to video editors, animators, and digital artists.
Competition for MacBook Pro
With its upgraded GPU and enhanced OLED technology, the ProArt P16 is expected to compete directly with Apple’s MacBook Pro and other high-end creator laptops. For professionals relying on Windows-based workflows, the ProArt P16 could become a leading option in the market.
